About Doug Leaf

Raised on a farm in New Zealand Doug has been training animals all his life. After traveling the world Doug moved to Canada where he quickly became involved in film and television. First Blood was his Hollywood debut. Doug has also trained many search and rescue dogs, police dogs, drug dogs, as well as cats, rats, foxes, skunks, donkeys, reindeers etc. Doug loves working with all animals and enjoys a good challenge. Whether it be teaching a dog to open the fridge to retrieve a beer for a commercial or rehabilitating a biting dog, Doug can do it all.
